New Janney Art Exhibits

Ten art teachers from ten schools in the DC3 arts collaborative program organized an art exhibit at Sumner that reflects the visual arts program at their respective schools. Several Janney students were selected to participate in this show. Please take a view minutes to view their work and the artists from the collaborative schools here.

Janney is participating in an exhibit at the Airport .  Please view the art work in the Terminal B baggage claim area when you travel.  Both exhibits will be up until June.

Thanks to the efforts of art teachers, Emily Strulson & Polly Morrison, you can now view the art creations of Janney students on the web. Visit the 2 web photo albums: photo album (Strulson) and photo album (Morrison) and read about what the children are learning in art class.

New Environmental Science Mini-Session is a success

We ended our last Environmental Science session last Saturday. Students from George Washington University conducted two Saturday sessions with hands-on experiential science workshops. This was an fabulous experience for all of our students who participated in the sessions. We are hoping to continue this program and partnership with GW next school year. We greatly appreciate Mr. Caruso and his team of students from GW working with us.
