DCPS Announces Make Up Snow Day Schedule
In order to make up the 4 days lost during the snow storms this winter, the following changes will be made to the DC Public School schedule.
March 19 will convert from a Professional Development day to a regular instruction day.
May 17, a parent-teacher conference day will now be a regular instruction day. DCPS will work with schools to ensure that teachers and parents schedule time to talk about summer learning and end-of-year topics during late May.
June 18, a current half day will convert into a full regular instruction day.
June 21 and June 22, our designated make up days, will be used as full regular instruction days.
The last day of school for students and teachers is June 22.
Summer school begins Monday, June 28.
PTA Google Calendar
View the Janney 2009-2010 Calendar on Google Calendar. If you use Google for your own calendar, you can add the Janney calendar to your personal calendar by clicking the "+ Google Calendar" button in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

August 23, 2010 is the first day of school for the 2010-2011 school year.
How to add the Janney calendar to your to your iphone calendar or iCal on a mac:
In Apple's iCal, on the "Calendar" menu, choose "Subscribe..."
When prompted for the Calendar URL, copy/paste this:
http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/janneyelementary%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics
If you sync your iphone to your mac's ical, this should sync as an
additional calendar. By viewing "All Calendars", the events of the
Janney calendar will appear on the same view but in a different color.
Alternately, you can add the calendar directly to the iPhone calendar
by following the instructions here -- in step 2, choose "Add
subscribed calendar".
