Janney Bricks
Janney Elementary School has provided exemplary education for our neighborhood
children for over 75 years. As Janney’ s population has grown,
space, both indoors and out, has become a precious commodity. In response,
Janney developed and implemented a wonderful design for the school’s
front entry that uses space to provide a welcoming and safe gathering
place for children and their families.
Due to the generosity of Peter Branson, Janney parent and co-owner of
Kalos Construction, installation of Janney’s new front walkways
and landscaping occurred last spring. Many in the Janney community have
taken the opportunity to buy bricks and have them engraved and installed
in front of the school. Peter’s willingness to install the walkways
enabled all brick dollars to go towards other needed improvements at
the school.
There is room for many more personalized bricks. Now you have the chance
to make a donation that will last a lifetime. Support Janney and create
a lasting tribute to your family members, friends and neighbors or a
much loved teacher or principal.
An initial installment of bricks was done. Should you be interested in adding to the path, please download a brick form and send it in. When the next round is done, your name will be included.
