A Note from the PTA Co-Presidents

Dear Janney Families!

We were blown away with how amazing International Night came together last
week. Ragini Dalal, Neha Shah & Amy Hall -- the three chairwomen -- pulled
together an exciting, delicious and fun evening and the Janney community came
out in droves to enjoy the night. Special thanks are also in order to the
Continent Leaders (see list below). Thank you to all the chefs, dancers, volunteers and we thank all of you for coming and supporting the event and making it such a wild success.

Join us for our next PTA meeting on February 15th, "The State of Janney
School Community". If you have not attended any PTA meeting before, this is the
one to attend to have all your questions answered: how the Janney PTA
surplus will be spent, Janney's 2012-13 budget, and future enrollment trends at
Janney. Babysitting will be provided.

Interested in being a new officer on the PTA next year? Want to be part of
the PTA nomination committee? Let us know if interested, we are putting
together that committee now.

Have a great week!

Thanks,

International Night Thanks You!

We all enjoyed resurrecting Janney International Night, but could not have
pulled off the night without the work of so many dedicated Janney volunteers
and staff members.

Special thanks to Continent Leads: Liz Rihani, Mialy Andriamananjara, Anna Kessler,
Rachel Evans, Emiliana Vegas, Susana Sitja, Jenny Yang, Joanne Kelsey. Invaluable gratitude to Karen Harris, Pippa Trench, Linda Sell, Norah Lycknell, Laure Hunter, Robin Weisman, Kelly Lee and Julie Slattery. Kudos to our setup team: Ana Maria del Rio, Tabatha Thompson, Tracy Scarrow & Jennie Bonnie.

The night could not have happened without the time and effort of so many
Janney families showcasing their different heritage with pictures, books, crafts & delicious food! We thank you all.
